January 4, 2017 – CMG’s Andres Carvallo to teach five lectures on “Building a Smart Grid Architecture” at the University of Texas at Austin in Jan and Feb. This will be part of a new graduate class titled “Smart Grids”. This course is an introduction to the fundamentals of smart electric power grids, including definition, design criteria, and technology. Smart grid can be defined as the application of information processing and communications to the power grid.
